It seems as if today you can't say anything without someone being offended.People want to shut up anyone that they don't agree with.People are afraid to say what they believe because they're afraid to be labeled Sexist, Homophobic or something else. I can't believe a Generation that grew up listening to music artists such as Eminem are so easily offended. So when do you think this country and the rest of the world became so offended? In my opinion I think it was when Bruce Jenner became Catilyn Jenner and this transgender stuff became mainstream.
It always existed just easier to convey your thoughts now.

It's crazy that I'll be watch television from the 90's and say "damn there's no way this would fly in today's climate."
It’s the same as it was when I️ was watching shows from the 60s and 70s in the 80s :flabbynsick:

There is nothing new under The Sun it’s just presented in different forms.

what are you even talking about?

I didn't say anything about something being new.

My point is we are more sensitive and politically correct now than we were in the 90's.

I'm aware that you can replace my post with decades before the 90's I'm just not a flabby and sick old nikka.

All in the Family would not fly today as an example.

I hate to say it too, but it's happening to Black people too. I mentioned it some time ago that some Black people are the new white girls on college campuses with the way they find everything so "problematic." Mainly Black women as they're the demographic among us that's more likely to go to college and get "educated." But you see it on here too with brothers, bragging about putting folks on ignore, quick to call someone a cac, c00n, etc... Which I could understand for the trolls and baiters, but in most cases dudes on here really do get triggered off of opposing view points. Fascinating if it wasn't so tragic. I don't see how anyone can live their life without being challenged intellectually. It's like lifting weights. You can't get bigger without significant resistance.

Ya'll say shyt like this and actually think it holds any weight to the actual problem at hand.

Its way after eminem era

Its the younger generation ... I'm 30 and growing up we didnt have shyt
you go outside and get the shyt kicked out of you, you walk home. And then you know you have to do that tomorrow

With technology changing everything, I witnessed it but I was older. Everything was a luxury and pretty dope. The kids born in that era don't know that its a luxury. So they are extremely self absorbed and selfish... If you gave a dude an Iphone in 1995 he would think he was god too. Fast forward to today where everyone has tablets and phones, tablet in their car, smart TV etc ... people don't need anyone anymore. Why care about someone elses opinion or life when you are so cozy and comfortable living like a bytch... and why admit you're living like a bytch when nobodies opinion matters :russ:

I'm going to ramble but whatever, I am an anti phone person. I simply don't answer my shyt even if I'm holding it when you call... people get offended and will call 20x straight. To me talking to you isnt a luxury for me. Like I said back in the day, you get punched in the face and you walk home and deal with it. So many people rely on technology to dig themselves out of shyt but what's even more funny is, the technology isn't being used to educate by the people who think its a luxury. You can see this simply by the programs that were out before Windows XP. The PC was more of a learning tool and why do you need to buy a 70 inch TV to watch cartoons? :russ:

Yeah men used slap women on daytime TV back in the 60's

Now it's "politically incorrect" to do that.

we should go back to that

This is the BS statement white people like to say when they want to say something either racist or sexist.

“I just said my nikka, why are you so offended “

“ I just called you a bytch, it was only a joke, why are you so offended”
Nah its not that simple at all and for you and those that dapped it to say so shows some of y'all give whites tooooo much credit as usual. Think about it you think OP started this thread to talk about white people?

Smh. My point is that the same family shows with their political incorrectness of the 80s were replacing shows like All in the Family and the Jeffersons. People were offended the same way and people thought those shows of that time period were improvements on the political incorrect of their predecessors.

Lol. Call me what you want but don’t refer to me as a nikka. It’s ignorant.

People are not offended today the way they were in previous decades.

I never said people weren't offended in previous generations just not to the extent that they are now.

And yet, there are things we are now desensitized to that wouldn't fly (here read; would be politically incorrect) back then because people were sensitive and politically correct back then too. :sas1:
So it's like @Tupac in a Business Suit said: same shyt, just different toilets. :sas2:
