That shyt doesn't speak for me. None of nas albums when you listen to them are BETTER SOUNDING or have more appealing content.

Nas gets points on trying to do more, but I can't reward so many failed executions. And a lot of it sounds so bad I never want to hear it again.

Hov made things I wanted to hear over and over again.

Nas couldn't do that.

well, we agree that's a matter of taste but what we can't get around is that both the critics and the fans at large, thought nas put out better material than jay over a 15 year span:umad:

Critics were on nas nuts because they hate materialism so they run for the "let me grab the thing that sounds gritty and homely over the man swagging out and dropping life lessons

Y'all more impressed with raps that ramble over mediocre production.

The whole thing matters and Jay is better at it.

I'm convinced @mobbinfms is the type to request the shyt no one listens to at the party :heh:
You say that like it's a bad thing :lolbron:
You sound like a cowardly conformist. Too afraid of what your friends might think to even form an opinion of your own.

If the DJ is playing trap and for some strange reason he's taking requests (where does that even happen :russ:) and I wanna hear Shook Ones I'm requesting it :pdahellclean:

yes. It is. Way better.

On account of Jay telling his real story. Nas just out here with more project window tales and no real skill about it. Just spilling on the mic.

Hov out here flipping lines and inventing flows.
We judging rapping or criminal activity?

nope....if anything Jay has gotten more passes for his overt, materialism while Nas can't do one "commercial sounding" type song w/o getting heat even if the lyrics are actually more on a conscious tip

Im more impressing with elite poetic and technical skill combined with great-diverse subject matter, concepts and solid production than I am with trendy beats and little range in subject matter

The whole thing matters and Jay is better at it.

nope
