Goalposts moving. Can't be the goat with a losing championship record breh

Now Bron has had harder Finals competition but you can't have a losing record in the championship and be GOAT. At least be .500

Ahhh its goalpost moving when your tryna have a conversation with context. Understood.

Ok lets talk about it. Besides Dallas which of the 5 teams he lost to was he suppose to beat?

Rell Shyt

He was supposed to win it all in 2008 - 2009. 66 wins. MVP. #1 Seed. He lost to Dwight Howard in the Conference Finals.

He was supposed to win it all in 2009 - 2010. 61 wins. MVP. #1 Seed. Lost to the Celtics in the Semi Finals. Took his jersey off and ran to Miami.

These seasons get overshadowed by JJ Barrea and 2011 but these are big blemishes on his resume as well.

That's one ring and he was injured. And you skipped past Kareem having six rings and 2 finals mvps.

Like I said...illogical.
So we just handwaving away one ring? He also averaged an inefficient 24 PPG the next season against Philly while Shaq was utterly dominant. Kareem gets placed higher than Kobe because of his other accolades.. A guy who won 6 MVPs is going to be placed higher than the dude who won one.

That's not Bron Stans argument. Stop moving the goal posts. The argument yall made was Rings dont count if you not the Finals MVP. Period :russell:

I just looked up Kareem's stats too. He averaged 13 points one Finals, 18 points in another Finals and 21 points in another. The reason yall don't bring it up is because yall dumb ass nikkas weren't alive then.

Yall believe LeBron is the GOAT so I'm not surprised the logic is flawed and dumb.

I appreciate the response. That can't fly though I'm talking when he made it to the fianls which of those finals teams was he suppose to beat?
We can't hold playoff games prior to the finals against Bron in these GOAT talks because its neva held against Jordan who was routinely waxed before he made it.

Imagine Jordan choking with the #1 seed:picard:
As a Kobe fan there was a moment after the 3-peat that trajectory wise he had a chance to be the GOAT, but for the most part I think we could all agree that he didn't continue that trajectory. Flew too close to the sun too early
That 02-03 season is when Nikkas were like "this dude could pass Jordan:ohhh:"

You're a ring counting casual my nikka, of course you don't understand. The argument is that rings as a secondary/ancillary piece ≠ rings as the fulcrum. Nobody is out here putting Scottie Pippen in top 10 rankings and for good reason. When you're comparing all-time greats, you evaluate the totality of their accomplishments.. So yeah Kareem and Kobe have the same amount of finals MVPs but Kareem has five more MVPs :heh: Of course he's ranked higher.

Blah blah blah. You exposed yourself already. Your logic is swiss cheese. Yall never "evaluate the totality of player's accomplishments" when it comes to Kobe.

I hear dumbasses like you say rings dont count if you don't win Finals MVP. I never heard anyone say rings dont count if you don't win Finals MVP but, they do count if you win some other stuff. Nobody says that jackass. Not only are you stupid, you a liar too :heh:

Damn you really are an idiot :dwillhuh:

You do realize we're comparing the 10-15 greatest players to ever play, right? Of course his championships count but we're evaluating how they measure up against other all-time greats. A player who was in the passenger seat for 3 of his 5 rings does not compare favorably to players that were the driving force for multiple championships. Now, If Kobe had six MVPs or other accomplishments of that magnitude to bolster his already impressive career we wouldn't even be having this conversation. But he doesn't and looking at his career for what it is, he isn't as accomplished as a Magic or even a Duncan. There are a lot of inconsistencies with how the internet ranks these players (they often pick and choose when to place a premium on peak vs. longevity) but ya'll always come with the most surface level analysis. You don't just ring count and ignore context.. If that's the case Bill Russell will be the forever GOAT.

Imagine Jordan choking with the #1 seed:picard:
"
Year 6 Bron with Mo Williams and Delonte West as his two and three = 66 wins, one seed, and an ECF appearance
Year 6 Jordan with Scottie Pippen and Hoarce Grant as his two and three = 47 wins, a 6th seed, and an ECF appearance

I guess MJ gets a pass for doing less with more :mjlol:
