Please use common sense before posting. Obviously I know delete has been around for years. I seeing alot people use it in replacing the word murder. "Imma delete (as in kill) this ____". I'm hearing it alot now on slang. Did that become popular this year?

Because of filters language has devolved. You've seen how uncreative people are now. In the past people would just use abbreviations or acronyms. Like that's how you get lol or rofl or wtf thats shyt that millennial and Gen X made.

We would write KYS to an obnoxious poster or '/ self' it felt like you figured out a secret language/jargon. If anyone tried to guess what you were saying you'd just say it meant something else.

Unalive, seggs, grape, M*urder etc. Sounds childish and stupid. It's representative of the declining attention span of people and the way social media has annihilated true online communities

I remember Google getting into some trouble over teens searching "How to commit suicide" and they've made some changes.

Now if you Google search "suicide" the first thing that comes up is the suicide hotline.

I think shyt is designed to find certain keywords because the content that uses those keywords has the potential to tie those companies to the responsibility of promoting those thoughts and ideas(suicide, murder, etc).

But I think it's led to problems because they aren't ran by humans.

If a content creator makes videos about suicide prevention, or wants to talk about suicide in general, I'm not sure what measure are done to separate them from another creator making videos that promotes suicide or violence.

It seems like the result of flagging all content using certain words has inadvertently created internet slang terms.
