I got sick of some Tequila some time ago, and I'm hesitant to touch the stuff now. Same with wine.

I went back to cognac around the end of 2016. One of my crews drink nasty ass Jose Cuervo like it's water. Has nothing to do with being cheap either. They love that shyt.

I like tequila but it isnt my favorite. But I love some margaritas (both frozen and on rocks) and I love most ethnic foods so going to the Mexican spot to have tacos/fajitas and margaritas and sangria is my shyt.

I do notice folks getting more into tequilas and they experimenting with other brands than the popular Don Julio and Patron.

I dont drink much anymore, but I used to drink 2-3 times a week when going out and my go to drink was Hennessy mixed with Coke. I switched to tequila with pineapple now. Way less sugar, carbs and havnt had a true hang over since making the swap

Gold isn’t real tequila. It’s just sugar and other additives that makes the gold color and sweeter taste. The real “gold” looking tequila is anejo which gets that color because it’s aged longer. The cheap tequilas use that gold shyt.

Tequilla is only above Gin in sales and consumption. Whisky, Vodka and Rum are all still killing Tequilla. No tequila brand is even top 10 in sales. Tequila will never catch Whiskey or Vodka
