But you have to remember your perspective is through a white lens. I understand you may come from a good place but at the end of the day you don't live a "black" life.

It's like a doctor not respecting the patients experience..That would make for a terrible doctor if the doctor does not consider the patients needs and blows off the patient concerns. A doctor can't experience what a patient goes through( some of the best doctors are ones that have been sick or had love ones whom where sick) but they try their best to get in the patients shoes to help heal them. Thus, why we take patient surveys.

Not all of us have the resources (money, facilities etc) as of yet to be actively working to change the outcome of our communities at this particular moment of time. Getting online is the first step to networking. Building in a civil manner amongst fellow black persons is another step. All of us are starting at a different point...some have a head start...some are behind.
