I have to agree with what was said above me about it being a different generation. Boosie made Independent in 2007, which in my opinion was the tail end of the independent women stage. Somewhere between then and now, women realized that they didn't have to be independent because they hold all power over men with their vagina.
There was a time when a woman was nothing more than an accessory for a man, basically the equivalent of a Rolex if she was fine, and a Fossil if she was trash. As time progressed, and the equality started leveling, women wanted to branch away from men, and show that "I don't need no man." Ironically, this thinking often times left women alone, and wanting companionship, however their pride and mindset kept them alone.
Fast forward some years, and the masses began to think differently. Women then realized, "I can't put this Ikea desk together myself", "This dildo isn't real dikk", "I can't open this jar of pickles myself" and this is when they realize "Ok, maybe we do need men." It was at this point the tides flipped, and for a brief second, men had the power. However, women, upset about the power shift, immediately sought out ways to regain the power.
This is when women figured out that their vagina is the key to success. You let a nikka fukk here and there, and get your light bill paid. She can lob a guy a taste and get the rent paid. This was really magical to women, as they had not realized how much power they had right between their legs. After several golden years for women, and dark times for the men, the tides changed once again. The market became flooded with vagina offers, vagina became inflated, it was no longer any good. More and more had to be done, and men, again, for a brief second regain the power.
Women, once again desperate for the power, went to the drawing board. It was at this point, women realized, with the rise of the ever popular internet, they could use that to their advantage. No longer were you bounded to the guys you could find in your state, city, neighborhood, but the playing field opened up to the entire world, via Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc. The market is still being flooded with vagina, however, the regular vagina is no longer any good. With the internet, men can get glimpses of foreign vagina, elegant vagina, vagina that you can't get, but can view, and yearn for. Those that yearn for that vagina are what we now refer to as simps.
Women then began to come down and prey on these simps, like hawks on field mice. Getting everything they can out of the simp, before leaving him dry. The simps, unaware of what's going on continued to be prey for many years, or until they completely dried up and was left alone, and with nothing.
Word quickly spread about these new type of men called "simps", and every woman wanted a piece of that action. And this is where we are today.

Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands
that they won't date a broke man? i'm pretty sure i've heard statements about not dating broke men about 2-3 weeks before said woman gets a broke man. men talk mess, women talk mess. not many are serious
