Don't remember permit but got license when I was 18. Graduation day actually. Pops took me to the rehearsal in the morning, went and took driving test after, and graduated later that night. School didn't offer drivers ed so we used to go to the dmv on weekends or nights when it was closed and practice on the track they had. Helped me out a lot. I know some places, especially in Dade, just take you out on the streets. My brother went to Dade and failed like twice in two spots in Hialeah. Bad place to drive, let alone take a driving test. Sucked that I couldn't drive until the end of the summer tho cuz our insurance updates end of August. Had to wait two months more.

I'm almost 26 and I don't know how to drive. I had a permit a long ass time ago but never took the test. The last time I actually drove was with in 09 I think. I'm too scared of driving tbh, when I drive I lose my breathe and start shaking. I ended up driving off the road when I last went on the freeway because I thought I was gonna get hit

Passed road and written test first time, but failed the maneuverability test (we have one in Ohio) the first time, because I was driving a truck.
Second time, came in, passed in 5 min, got my license.

I got my permit at 15 but couldn't continue drivers Ed cause I needed glasses. & the time I wasn't able to get them in enough time to continue drivers Ed. So I had to go to study hall the rest of the semester. Last year a month before I made 26 I got my drivers license. I waited so long cause I was scared to drive. But after the winter of 2013-2014 I was fukking over the bus. I was tired of freezing my ass off and riding on a bootleg ass buses.
