That's what I been thinking.

But the pressure of seeing everybody else move out and people asking you questions like you haven't moved out yet? :sadbron:

I moved out when I was 19 and never looked back
take my advice and TRUST me... finish college while you're still home!
get that degree so you can get that money and you wont have to worry about "the struggle" :feedme:

what did you do after high school? Just work and party?

I took a greyhound to Jacksonville (from Chicago) to live with my cousin and his homeboy. We rented a house for $700 a month (real estate is cheap down there. My cuz had a Miami connect and we was trapping hard, lol. I'm not gonna even lie, I felt like the king of the world.

But shyt like that never last though. I ended up catching some dope charges a few years later and had to sit down for a second. But I needed that time to find my own path. Now that I look back, it would have been smartest to stay at the crib until I "figured" things out. But at the same time I needed those experiences to help me mature and become the person I am today. I got my record sealed, I have a college degree and I work in corporate America (banking) Atlanta. Life is good.

Damn that's wild. I don't trap but I know a lot of people who live that life so I've just learned from observations that life isn't for me. The people I know who trap seem like they won't be getting a college degree though. They talk about going to college every year, they take the placement tests just to never go. I feel like I should cut them off once I get my new life... well that happens when you move away anyways right? You stopped fukking with the people you knew once you went to Jacksonville?

Houston to LA like I'm Robert Horry.
21 went back home for a few months after I graduated college. Love my pops, but me and him used to butt heads a lot because I wasn't used to being ordered around in a minute.

After a while I was like

And moved back to Houston bouncing from a sugar momma to my grandparents house until I could support myself.

Well, depends on how you define "moved out".

When I was 18 I left for college so I lived in a dorm for two semesters. Summer after freshman year I was back home for the summer, then I went back to the dorms for sophomore year. After sophomore year, instead of going back home for the summer I got an apartment with a roommate. Did that for two years, and then rented a studio for my last semester of college.

After I graduated (22) I went back home, but I found a job 2-3 months later and moved back out (into my own apartment) permanently after that and have been on my own since then.

I was 21. Ended up renting a room off campus. $270/mo. It was the definition of a struggle. shyt was Roach infested and filled with Asian foreign exchange students. The smells in there were :scust:

Life as a shorty shouldn't be so rough :wow:

I think about moving out every time I argue with my pops. Last time we got in a heated convo over the aux cord lol.
I always forget i can't win the argument because they win the battle if they kick me out.
