They're not good enough to produce an MVP candidate. What does that even mean![]()
what kinda big man is able to do this ....![]()
Drumm needs to follow the Derrick Rose blueprint to MVP success, granted he's a big man and not as flashy but he can put up those numbers and carry the a Pistons to the playoff (berth) he could get serious consideration. They're not good enough to produce an MVP candidate.
This. It's crazy to think that but Dre is clearly on the verge of taking that next step and Stan Van will be in the same exact spot he was when Dwight became "elite", hopefully history won't repeat itself. Drumm doesn't seem like that type to have that Dwight drama. Dwight (prime Dwight) was mostly athleticism based, Drumm seems to be more set on using his skills so hopefully he's motivated to reach his potential unlike Dwight who was content on relying on his freaky athletism. He is, he better not pull a dwight![]()
Stan even talked about it in the postgame, how he's a good passer and that Stan should probably use him more as a trigger of the offense. You can see how Stan is still tinkering with the offense to see how he can maximize everyone's abilities. Reggie is making better decisions out the pnr, KCP is handling the ball more and attacking more on offense instead of just being used as a 3 and d guy, and Morris is driving more. In the past 10 games the team had shown a tremendous improvement on the offensive side.Just scratching the surface, scoring in the post for himself on hooks with both hands and even had some really nice passes out the post last night.

The profit Stan Van leading the Pistons to the promise land. I don't know where he's gonna get the PF from but I know Stan sees that's where we need to improve. I can only dream about what Draymond would be able to bring to this team. 3 pt shooting, playmaking, elite post and perimeter d, and the ability to lead the breakYeah, KCP is starting to go off the dribble, he's always been praised for his defense but now he's starting to create a bit and Drummond is getting more and more comfortable on the block, that pass he had in OT where he hit I think KCP running baseline was something Dwight NEVER did. People keep comparing him to Dwight when the development of a back to the basket game means he'll be able to pass in the post, where as Dwight had a turn and face the rim game which just doesn't lend itself to passing much.
Your squad has a really bright future, especially when you consider Drum & KCP are 22, Morris is 26, Jackson is 25 and Stan is 19. Getting the bench worked out will be easy, if you could just get a upgrade at PFon that note Serga Ibaka will be a free agent in 2017, he'd be a great fit.

But I'll let that go. Ibaka would be a nice fit with his d and range on his jumper. I'll have to keep an eye out for other players that can be a good fit.
