Dude has superstar written all over him. I thought he was going to be a superstar coming out of college. When he was still available at #8 I thought drafting him was a fukking no brainer!!

But instead my Raptors drafted Terrence fukking Ross!!!

I'm never going to get over that. Raptors got to be one of the worst drafting teams in the league. They've only hit it big on two draft picks in 20 years. Vince Carter and Bosh. Given how much they've been in the lottery, that's sad.

But this thread is about Andre da beast Drummond, who is my favourite big in the league, just ahead of Boogie. I'd love to see them head to head in a finals one day.

The two PFs you were linked to all summer were Dray and Kristaps, either one of them would have been nightmare for the East.

Porzingis next to Drummond wouldn't have been fair.
Well you know I was extra hesitant on the Porzingis thing, but clearly Stan did his googles and had him well scouted so he knew whatt he would have brought to this team. shyt would have been over for the east. I shouldn't have doubted you or SVG. Still SJ is starting to figure out when abs where he can find his scoring opportunities and has made some passes to show he can run some offense to. Really wish he had some players on the bench that he could run pnr roll with, but once Jennings and Meeks get back it create some more space and opportunity for him.

I'll be convinced when he leads his team on a crazy winning streak that takes the Piston to one of the top 3 teams in the NBA and maybe end of season secure at #1 seed in the playoffs. Buddy is second to last place in his division and barely hanging on to an 8th seed if the playoffs started today. He's got time but he's got a lot of work to do to achieve it:usure:

:childplease: The Hornets/Bobcats say hello I wanted them to draft him they have missed on so many picks and left so many superstars on the board over the last 10 years it not even funny.

"Well, [Roy] Hibbert is a very good defender,” Stan Van Gundy said after the loss to the Lakers. “I mean, he is one of the best rim protectors in the league, something that we need more of, Andre Drummond could learn from. Andre does a lot of great things but he is not protecting the rim at all'.

Like I said before. Andre is better than Jordan and Chandler offensively, but his D is still not there yet.

Joe's problem was he suffered from greener grass syndrome. He would make a quality draft pick then trade them for a player he thought was better or cap space to get a better player. The players we'd ebbs up with turned out to be bums while our former players flourished. Preciate the championships but it seemed like the game passed him by, at least when it came to value of player contracts, especially rookie ones.

He gave ben gordon and charlie v the most money they ever could have made

And abandoned the defensive concept that won him two titles and helped create the 04 pistons for two bench players

Im starting to think he lucked up by getting ben and rip because it built ancore of undervalued talents that flourished under a defensive philosophy

Still looks like a fish out of water at times in the post

I don't think he's ever gonna be a dominant post player he's gonna be in the mold of a Chandler/Jordan getting most his points of alley oops
Pretend to watch Pistons games, brehs.

He hit like 8 jumphooks last night on Pau, people must not watch him play or some shyt.
Pau was whining to the refs like "don't let him abuse me :why: "
At this point he is committing to rhe post he just needs the experience. There were a few times when he settled and shot too early when he could have went in another dribble or two. And like you mentioned in the other thread he is passing out of the post better as well and finding dudes open for three.

:dahell:

They're 3 games out of 1st and beat the top 3 teams in the east, some more than twice already.

Not factoring their 6 game west trip is a mishap on your part, and the losses theyve had been on some fluke shyt (matt barnes 3) or some general 1, 2pt fukkery like the clippers game.
