Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Everytime a Wayne fan tries to prove how dope he is, this is the song they always mention, and this shyt is so damn garbage it's not even funny.

Good thread....right album, but I would choose a different song.

This one here solidified the brilliance of both Wayne AND Mannie Fresh. For Wayne, it wasn't even spectacular lyricism, it was just the command of the flow and the beat. For Mannie, it just proved that he could make anything sound incredible.

I still play this jawn weekly:

Southern classic that revived Cash Money

The straight spitting classic that proved Southern artists could spit too and made people take Wayne's best rapper alive claims serious.

The commerical, culmination of hard work classic that did a milli and changed the game forever

:wow:

IMO though :whoa:

IMO I think Wayne has filler songs that prevent his albums from hitting that classic status

Filler is a subjective term though.

Such a vague term.

Any song someone doesn't like can be considered filler.

Filler to me means it doesn’t fit with The sequencing of the album but threw it on there because of whatever reason

I don't watch/listen to enough Budden to get this reference, but most people who were already finished with middle school were never impressed with Wayne during his rise to stardom. Everything y'all thought was "lyrical" during this period was simply just aimless rapping over decent to good beats.

But what if the album was sequenced the way the artist intended it?
It's all art....all subjective
