When is the last time you accidentally walked through an unknown hood (either in a new city, or a part of your city you've never been to before)? You walking around exploring at night just for the fukk of it, and then before you know it, you're like in the middle of some shady-looking spots, cats that you don't know posted up outside the bodega, etc.

Speak on it. Did you just keep walking through like you belonged, jet as soon as you realized you were in a hood area, start strutting like Ric Flair, or what?

I never walked though a hood by accident. Only time I got caught off guard is when I went to Camden New Jersey, I went to visit Walter Rand Transit Center and for some reason I envisioned in my mind that it look like Freeport Long Island bus/train station setup, but I was wrong :damn:

However a few years ago when I went on Vacation with my parents we got lost in the hood in Harrisburg PA trying to find the highway :pachaha:

I've never walked through the wrong hood by accident, but me, my mom, and my aunt got lost somewhere in the middle of West Virginia a few years ago. Trying to find this access road to get the highway we ended up in some backwoods hillbilly type shyt, confederate flags on the back of picks ups and on porches. 3 nikkas in a damn black Navigator.....So glad it wasnt dark yet

just last week :ehh: I go, walk wherever, act normal. Fully exploring this city and the neighboring ones are pretty interesting. I walked down many strange blocks just to make myself familiar.

I'd never try that in suburbia or the countryside, tho. No way

Ima avoid that Camden spot...

The key factor here being, don't be walking through at night in areas where you can't easily duck out and make it back to the homeland.

When I was much younger, I got in trouble while living in Detroit. Part of my punishment was to stay with my uncle in Chicago to go to school there. I was walking through his hood with a red headband (cooley high school colors) on and them nikkas ran up on me with the quickness. They thought I was a blood and one dude pulled out a heater. I had to talk my way out of it and convince them that I was not a threat. I seriously thought that would be the end of my life.
