I thought Sephiroth was bad, but this nikka man then again Sephiroth was kinda crazy. Ardyn on the other hand . Like Ardyn had all that shyt calculated, Sephiroth too, but he was a little bit delusional, but Ardyn man killing off the fiancee of the nikka and essentially winning in the end. Nyx died just to further his plans a lil bit

So did Caius Ballad who was responsible for the best antagonist wins troll ending in gaming. I've never beaten a game before and saw the protagonists lose on every front like they did at the end of XIII-2. That ending was the definitive villain wins ending of gaming.

Nah. You guys are just making up bullshyt that doesn't stick when applied to other games. It's as simple as saying I like this game is don't like that game.

Using back stories of villains as a reason why you don't like a game is pathetic and full of shyt because games like ff6 with a legendary villain have shyt for the backstory of the main villain. The game was still enjoyable without it and probably ahead of ffxv in your all time lists.

Modern games are held to movie script standards where y'all are bytching about villain back stories instead of just saying I didn't have as much fun with this game for whatever reason. It's disengenuous. It's full if shyt. It's NeoGaf filth.

They experimented on him and he went insane isn't a lackluster backstory.

Ardyn had a much more involved backstory than Kefka. It's just that I had to go on the internet and read about it to fully grasp it because the game did a very poor job explaining it. The game had a very good point to explain his backstory in full but the developers passed on it.
