I cant wait for someone to come in this thread talking bout how "he just said that for attention, he don't really care about black people like that".

Some nikkas in here are really koons disguised as "real nikkas".

My exact reaction. Honestly most of my people thought Kanye was just capitalizing on a situation rather than trying to say something that would wake people up. nikkas already had their feelings about the Bush administration, so Kanye basically going on air and dumbing down a very detailed subject was a slap in the face. Prior to the comment was Katrina (correct me if I'm wrong.) It didn't help us at a community at all. It really made us look like the ignorant people they see us as. You can't just generalize a struggle by saying [Insert White person] doesn't like black people.
You could of took it both ways. Most people just laughed it off. I mean it's Kanye, if you expect him to do anything for us as a culture collectively..pft...I could go on but that's probably one of the stupidest shyt I've heard a rapper say. Nothing legendary or revolutionary about it.

at the time i was :salute: but looking back it was a dumbed down comment as someone else said

that whole era of Bush bashing where dude was like the biggest villain in the world is lame in hindsight given how often we hear ''the president has no power!'' these days in the Obama era...

at the time i was :salute: but looking back it was probably too strong and unfair to bush. That whole era of Bush bashing where dude was like the biggest villain in the world is lame in hindsight given how often we hear ''the president has no power!'' these days in the Obama era...

at the time i was :salute: but looking back it was probably too strong and unfair to bush. As someone else said it was a dumbed down comment but i agree with the sentiment. However, that whole era of Bush bashing where dude was like the biggest villain in the world is lame in hindsight given how often we hear ''the president has no power!'' these days in the Obama era...
That cac put our county on the brink of a depression, was responsible for 9/11, had the slowest response to Katrina and had countries like Saudi Arabia offering for help, and got our country in Iraq and Afghanistan for wmds when that shyt didnt exist in those countries...that ether from Ye was nothing compared to what he should have gotten..
