I always heard crips were offshoots of the black panthers to protect the community but that seems to be a false narrative.
They mightve had some influence from the panthers, but they werent the revolutionaries like people say.
The stones and vice lords were on some next level shyt though...but even they had members that were still robbing, hustling and having shootouts.
