I'm a huge Jordan fan but couldn't agree more his image was closely guarded and casual fans still think he is a great guy I was telling this white dude at work how horrible a person mj was and he didn't believe me lol.

Smh

If the man wants to believe mj was a good guy,let him. No need for us to be downing our own people in America. White folks don't need any help in that department. Horrible person? No. Steve Jobs was a horrible person: didn't donate to charities and denied paternity of his daughter, allowing the mother to go on welfare. That's horrible.

MJ was just a competitive a$$hole who talked shyt. They already tore down Mike Jackson, now Bill Cosby. Don't help in tearing down Jordan.

Those aren't quotes that Mike's teammates said in the media. We all know that Mike was hard on his teammates and even got into it with some of them, but the point was that he never lost their respect. Even 15-20 years after the fact, how many of Mikes's old coaches/teammates have come out and threw shade at dude? Contrast that with Kobe and it's a clear difference. Kobe has had teammates and his coach throw shade while he was playing with them and after the fact. It's not about hating fanboy, it's about the reality of this comparison. Since cats insist upon constantly trying to compare Kobe to Mike, it's important for the truth to be known.
This is what Kobestans refuse to realize. The Jordan comparisons come with consequences since Jordan's resume absolutely shyts all over Kobe's. The reason Jordan is viewed on another level than Kobe is because he IS on another level. He was a better player and it isn't that close. That's not a slam on Kobe, it's just the truth.

Stans want to act like Jordan was just a golden boy or whatever but the reality is Kobe is too. The criticisms of Kobe's a$$hole ways come from the minority.

Its crazy...I said the same thing last night about Harden. He is fundamentally more sound and has a high bball iq than kobe...its sad but true. Kobe is still great because he was a better athlete with an insane drive to be great. When you watch Harden, it is so easy for him to get his and get his team involved in the offense, something Kobe never was able to master. Kobe needed two year with Coach K...first year to breakdown...second year to build up and he would have been even better than he is now which is scary.

James Harden is more fundamentally sound than Kobe Bryant? :dahell:

Tim Duncan> Kobe

cuz he has the same amount mileage and is even older but knows how to handle it.
:what:

Like having the same coach, same system, same 2 other hall of famers, and a consistently young/ good players didn't help

Spurs as a team is so good that they rest starters mid season

No, the thing that makes Duncan anything more than a great player is the Spurs organization...

Another thing, Kobe joined the NBA at 17... MJ didn't. A Kobe 36 is like an MJ 39

False. Compare the numbers. Kobe made the playoffs too. Nice try scrub
You know who says "compare the numbers"
A nikka who has no idea what happened, then they try to look at a stat sheet to tell how a game went :stopitslime:

I live in the DMV, went to a few Jordan on the Wizards. My last game, they beat the hawks (was his last or 2nd to last game at home in DC)
Jordan on the Wizards was more effective than Kobe was last year by FAR, and the year before that.
Kobe is a black hole. He gets the balls.. backs down.. uses up the entire clock, then he does his "Jordan" impersonation and misses. Not the same clutch dude he used to be.

Thats fact. And Jordan played with Rip Hamilton, then Jerry Stackhouse. Kobe played with Phil Jackson and whoever they wanted during the time period we talking about. So act like that wasn't the case, then point to stats.

In reality, :umad: and I'm right
