Hurts has struggled during the team's three-game losing streak, but no QB change is coming.
We aren't gonna bench him but he hasn't been good for most of the season
Just check the ball down on first and second down when the first two reads aren't open
Played horrible and still hit the throw that should've been the game winning TD. That 3rd & long conversion to Smitty in OT should've been what iced the game too.Hurts had a bad game but damn people are dramatic. Hard to give up on the season when the defense is incredible (even Adoree starting to ball
) and the pieces are there and have done it before on offense. Raider game is really the point of no return, they drop that or struggle through it and it's gonna be hard to have faith.

I get it breh. You dont want to be the Russell Wilson/Legion of Boom 1 and done Super Bowl winners.
However, you should still have patience with Jalen as long as hes being aggressive and actively working to get better.
I mean yea if he was more conservative Eagles win the last game, but long term he's gotta grow into a better passer. That only comes with reps.

and thats where people lose the plot. its one thing to hold jalen accountable when warranted (and it has been warranted for a month), but we have a long way to go to even begin to entertain that talk after last season. the offense isnt even playing close to good enough to take that seriously. this is the only team where the fans and media explodes when the qb has a god awful game. the life of being prominent defending sb champions where all hate drives the views, clicks & ratings.
I agree that we have to strike while the iron is hot. I don’t know if I can say he’s the biggest problem however. I basically look at it like this: the coaches give the players a super slim margin of error so you have to hit any opportunity that comes your way. I do think better coaching is needed though. Throughout his tenure we’ve never had gimmie throws or dudes schemed wide tf open like you see across the league.
I think you fix the OC situation and give him someone that isn’t gonna dip after a year and we’ll see good results.

I hear you and understand what you mean about not wanting to be LOB, but we know firsthand that's a massive accomplishment compared to what it could be as fans who lived through Reid & McNabb never getting the one they deserved.
This core of players got back and redeemed the ring they lost because of Gannon, it's honestly house money from here on out. Doesn't mean that Howie's not gonna keep trying at all costs, but they're chasing something only Brady & Mahomes teams have done in the modern era.

It’s the cardinals game of 2023. At home. Gimme game. They blow it it’s officially over. Crazy but my predication of 11ish wins is still in play they just going about it in the most ass backwards way.

The Philadelphia Eagles Fall to 8-5. This is the worst lost total since 2023. This is also the 1st time they have lost three straight since 2023. Chargers now lead the All Time Series 9-5. The Eagles remain in the 3rd Seed of the NFC Conference. The Eagles are 24-6 over their last 30 games.
I ALWAYS LOOK IN THE MIRROR FIRST: Jalen record his worst performance of the season with 5 turnovers including four INT’s. He now falls to 16-3 Vs The AFC Since 2022.
DEFENSIVE DOMINANCE: The Defense bounced back and forced 4 turnovers and sacked Herbert 7 times.
AJ’S ASCENSION: AJ Records his 3rd Straight 100 yard receiving game. He did have some crucial drops during the game.
SAQUON’S RETURN: Saquon rushed for this 2nd highest total for a game this season and broke his 2nd longest run of the season.
TURNOVER TROUBLE: The Eagles only had 3 turnovers throughout the first 11 games. In the last two games they’ve had 8.
AS THE NFC BEAST TURNS: The Boys get a 40 Burger dropped on them by the Lions in Detroit. They fall to 6-6-1 and remain in 2nd Place. They play the Vikings next. Washington got destroyed by The Vikings and put up a goose egg in Jayden’s return. They have lost 8 straight, are now 3-10, are officially eliminated from the playoffs but remain in 3rd place. The GMen were on a Bye Week are remain 2-11 in last place. Washington and GMen play each other next week. The Eagles remain in first place at 8-5. The NFC BEAST is a combined 0-19 right now (W – 8 straight losses, G – 7 Straight Losses, E- 3 Straight Losses, C – 1 Loss.)
Devastating loss but it was mistakes that put us in that situation. Obviously the game was filled with a lot of turnovers. I don’t think I remember seeing a game with that many turnovers. I thought both Defenses played well, and the Offenses were struggling most of the game. Jalen was a little trigger happy this game. Obviously Jalen hasn’t turned the ball over much over the last two seasons, so this was an anomaly. Doesn’t change the fact it was a bad performance because you just can’t excuse that many turnovers. Jalen will always take accountability. Sure in fairness AJ missed pass and Smitty slipping contributed to a few but Jalen just made some bad reads and took some risk he normally doesn’t take. I blame the last INT in OT playcalling. You are 1st and 17 and your are still passing? Saquon was running great, you run the ball right there.
Jalen obviously didn’t have his best game and that’s okay. He’s human and not robot. I just think he doesn’t match up too well with the Chargers (0-2 now in his career). The Haters will be out in full force but Jalen has nothing to prove to anyone. QB's have bad games all the time, it's how you respond. Remember they first said “He will never make a Super bowl” to "He will never win a Super Bowl" to now it’s “He will never win another Super Bowl”. Also Jalen did actually throw the game winning TD pass to AJ. It was a dime and he dropped it. One silver lining was the Offense did seem to be clicking better in spots. The Running game was also much better. The Defense definitely bounced back. Props to Herbert for playing after surgery but you can tell he was is pain all game long. It was a tough road game and we lost it in OT and despite the mistakes. The Eagles were right there for the win.
Well now the losing streak is getting deeper, so they are going to have to really clean this up fast. Patullo deserves the smoke but he’s like Fam to Sirianni. Nothing is happening in season and technically they are still in first place. Sirianni is going to take the heat for him. The #1 Seed is down to a slim chance being two games out now. Yes there's still 4 to play so #2 Seed is still right there though. Right now it’s all about securing the Division as the NFC BEAST curse is real as I’ve said. It’s rearing its ugly head right now. Raiders are next, sure they haven’t played well this year, but they still have a good defense. I don’t take any opponent for granted. But I honestly don’t want any excuses next week. But tough loss. I believe this game, 2nd Dallas Game and The Broncos game were 3 losses this year that were clearly winnable games for the Birds but mistakes stop them. Bears and GMen were the two losses we just got beat straight up. Being Eagles fan means you have to ride through the tough times. They will turn it around.
