I've said in this thread MANY times that KP is not the answer and he is clueless schematically and as a playcaller

I firmly believe that all the ingredients are there for a repeat and the ONE thing that will stop it is the OC/Sirianni

Contrary to what some may believe, it's not Jalen, it's never been Jalen and to go a step further AJ was ALWAYS referencing the playcalling and not Jalen. The fact that you score 21 points and get AJ more DESIGNED targets only to be unable to adjust(once again) to the defensive adjustment is just criminal at this point in the season.

Am I the only who is actively seeing a potential repeat superbowl chance go to hell because of coach buddy ball and friendship?

On a another note, Bigsby needs more touches. There is something not right with Saquon.

When we looked at Saquon’s rushing yards in NY, we attributed the ups and downs to him being injured but now I think he’s just streaky. He looks like the best RB on Earth in one year then you’re wondering who you’re watching the next season :patrice:

between the Cowboys comeback, the Broncos comeback and the Giants loss this could easily be an 11-1 or 10-2 team
an egregious waste of talent

and if we have the audacity to trade AJ Brown in the offseason thats it for the offense...mark my words
potential dynasty squandered because you wanna promote kevin patullo
Championship window closed if they trade AJ

I've seen enough...Hurts cannot sustain drives

He is not seeing the field well...he puts our defense at a disadvantage most wks by not sustaining drives

The playcalling is part of the issues but Hurts is the bigger issue

All this talent on the team, but we aren't sniffing a repeat

We may not win the division...2x in 3 yrs, it's a possibility we will collapse

Today showed you Caleb Williams is a better QB than Hurts...

an absolute waste. to think they tried to fool us into thinking AJ was a cancer. he the only reason we were in the game
Jalen has to be willing to risk interceptions (within the rhythm of the offense) if it means a bigger pass play opens up.

Eagles can still be great. However, Jalen is only going to get slower as he ages. He's gotta chill on the scrambles from clean pockets and just let it rip. Bad OC or not. Work on his development. The better he gets the better the Eagles are.

As much as people clown Dak he has made real strides as a passer cause he stuck with it. Even when his passes were ugly as fukk. Jalen has to actively work through his ugly passes.

AJ and Smitty are still dogs. Unlock them fully and life becomes easier for Saquan.

Couldn't disagree more, I watched Caleb in an offense that ran for over 200 yards and created countless opportunities off that and he still couldn't crack 50% completion. Him being erratic is the reason this game wasn't over at the half.

Sustaining drives hasn't been an issue for a Hurts offense, from the 2021 iteration to the Brian Johnson version that got all that heat (and was still top 10 in yards and ppg entering week 18)

Highest % of drives ending in a punt, 3rd highest % of drives ending in 3 & out, this is a level of futility they've never sniffed with this group. It's not all on Patullo but we have 3 months of data, he doesn't know what buttons to press to get his guys going and he doesn't have the answers. 10 day break before MNF vs LAC, this is the time to make a switch and let someone else get the callsheet or the season is just a slow death we all know is coming :manny:

the fact that our only 2 touchdown drives were drives with us in tempo is sickening.

IMO, Jalen is not the issue

We've seen him with Steichen we've seen him with Kellen

Jalen's biggest problem is he is loyal to whatever scheme or plays the coaching staff calls. Tonight, the offense looked the best in hurry up/no huddle where Jalen is calling his own plays. Maybe its just a 1 time thing you might say, NOPE we saw this earlier this year in the Rams game as well.

He missed DeVonta...horrible throw, by the way, you(not you specifically) can't say he missed DeVonta AND he missed Goedert. Every play has a primary read, he missed the throw on his wide open primary read. He didn't look at DeVonta, look at Dallas and came back and missed DeVonta. He looked at his primary read and missed the throw, Dallas was irrelevant in the play, I feel like people know this but are more interested in a narrative, It's common football knowledge

The INT was bad too, to me he only made that throw because of how bad the offense was at that time. He was trying to make something happen and he paid for it

Tush push fumble...ehhh. He has made that play hundreds of times with no fumble. Defense just made a play. It definitely hurt though

On the flipside
We had a miracle FG block vs LA, a miraculous INT in the end zone against KC, and narrowly escaped a TB comeback

i dont think any body blames jalen. For this specific game however, Jalen is definitely the reason we lost. Sprinkle some blame on Eliott too

This is what I'm talking about...Tony Gonzalez SHOULD know too much about football to say this, unless he trying to get a narrative across

Add to the fact that it was a 3 step drop and the primary read was clearly a slant to DeVonta and it was open, his eyes are left the whole way, He was never coming off DeVonta on that play, you don't get to a 2nd read if the 1st read is wide open

Thats the worst part is the league is wide fukking open. Nobody is scary so they could sleep walk to the Super Bowl if they could get right.
i said it back in like week 4 that the only team that could really challenge the Eagles was the Rams.

Somehow we managed to beat them, PLUS the Lions and Packers...yet here we are season hanging on a thread. The floor for this team should be the NFC Championship.

i think Gonzalez knows that...it just makes it worse.

lemme ask you this. If you freeze the video at 0:00, who would your first read be? Would it honestly be smith there?

Personally...I'm going to AJ on the out/Goedert in the seam depending on what the Strong Safety does
