When shawty is late for a date?

Been kicking it with this younger chic. She’s cool and so I decided to take her somewhere nice. We set a date and time - now I know she is usually on Caribbean time , so I set the reservation and hour later than the time we decided .

She then does that “oh can we push it back” thing a couple of time . I ended up just canceling the reservation and just leaving her on read the rest Of the night .

Maybe I’m tripping - as I get older I just get less patience for b.s. and my time is precious .

I would say what I did instead but don’t want to be seen in a negative light

yeah that's what I was thinking - the tolerance level for the stupid young chic stuff has lowered. But super fun when we are out.

The same age chics though have 2 or 3 kids and most of time are boring or just reek with this desperation that off putting.

I’d prolly still text on some cordial shyt but would not offer to see her again unless she brought it up.

Well when you put it like that -

Listen she had ample time to be ready and I even built in an hour leeway into the time and she already articulated she had no other plan - so she either did have other plans or she was just being lazy and chilllin til the last minute - either way my time is precious and it’s always been a pet peeve of mine. Like even when I was younger, if a movie started at 9pm and shorty showed up more than 15 minutes late I would bounce . I’m not paying to see part of the movie

So instead of calling her out and mentioning that she has a pattern for showing up late or pushing timing back which you find annoying, you decided to be passive aggressive like a woman and "leave her on read"


This is why women do this type of thing to y'all on a regular. Because y'all are so scared to check a chick who is playing around with you.
