Northern schedule was always ending in June


Had cousins down south that would visit for the summers and I used to be jealous they'd start the summer so early






But then I'd be cheesing when they had leave early to start in Aug and I had a whole month left

When I was in school, we got out the first week of June and didn't come back to last week of August. Only time I finished school in May was the year I graduated. Grew up in Ohio for reference

At least yall didnt have year round schooling. My elementary years, school ended last week of May and started first week September.

Middle school came, dumbass state of Hawaii implemented a new school schedule cuz they felt summers were too long and kids werent remembering what they were taught.

So they changed it from ending late May and starting school late July. Basically 2 months of summer. But we had a week off in October, 3 weeks of chritmas break, and 2 week of spring break. shyt was terrible.

And now you're a better off person for it, right?

Always ended in June & started in August over here though. Seems like they get a lot more days off somehow though or maybe that's just the brain's perception. For sure knows they get way more professional teacher days, "snow" days where it ain't even snowing or mf "our A/C not working" days though

Yea, we’d get done with school mid May, and begin early August. It’s still like that for my daughter. She’s been out since the 23rd or 24th of May, and she’ll start mid August.

Man, I miss them summer breaks as a kid.
