88' to like 96'. 97' was the starting decline. Still some great moments but it was changing

I think '95/'96 is sort of where it peaked. The early 2000s had a lot of good hip-hop but it was just different by then. '96 is when everybody was still spittin that pain :wow:
Even the party music was fire. Listening to the radio wasn't a perilous mistake like it has been for the past 15 years.

The very minute it was cool to listen to hip-hop by kids in my age group... I knew it was a wrap.

I think music is the soundtrack to peoples loves at the time...for me, it’s the mid 90s when I was in high school, college.

In 20 years, cats will think late 201x years was the shyt cause the were young, wilding out, etc.
