I think '95/'96 is sort of where it peaked. The early 2000s had a lot of good hip-hop but it was just different by then. '96 is when everybody was still spittin that pain
Even the party music was fire. Listening to the radio wasn't a perilous mistake like it has been for the past 15 years.
The very minute it was cool to listen to hip-hop by kids in my age group... I knew it was a wrap.
