A lot is made up of Timmy never missing the playoffs.

Why doesn't anyone bring up the fact the Spurs won 61 games the year after he retired? Why doesn't anyone mention all the help Timmy had over the years.

Ppl really act like the Spurs supporting cast was trash. Mike Finley, Brent Barry, McDyess, Malik Rose, Stephen Jackson, Bruce Bowen, Kerr, Horry, Danny Green, George Hill, Boris Diaw, Patty Mills, Avery Johnson, Sean Elliott, Mario Elie...these guys are all good "role players"

Played his while career next to at least one HOF, Admiral & then Tony Parker & Manu

Add the stability of Popovich for all those years

Timmy had PLENTY of help over the years, he wasn't playing with bums

He was still averaging 23 in 86. FMVP is all about matchups & opportunity.

Over entire career of Tim Duncan, only one time he had a teammate winning all nba 1st team award, which was Kawhi getting it in the last season of Tim Duncan (Robinson never was the same since that injury). Tim didn't play with bums, but he also wasn't in those super teams with bunch of superstar teammates. SO what is the purpose of this thread? Tim making it to playoffs every year is a very impressive record.

Also lol at the list, mentioning at the end of his career McDyess like that's some help? Dude he was finished. Might as well include Jefferson. Steve Kerr? Malik Rose? These are standard role players that any team can have :mjlol: was Tim supposed to have Yinka Dare or Rick Brunson from the bench to prove a point?

Duncan team never had a lottery pick either once he was drafted
