You've made valid points I can get down with, and yeah, I do expect E3 to silence me because, although right now the system has superior versions of multiplats, the fact that the majority of those multiplats are already on PS3 would make my PS4 purchase feel like a waste at this moment. When the console finds a comfortable release groove, and fun looking exclusive games that can't already be experienced on the PS3 or 360 start coming out for it on a monthly basis, I'll have no reason to complain, and a good reason to purchase one. So yeah, I'm glad we cleared this up and I made my intentions clear.
:dwillhuh: This guy..... wasn't cantankerous. :salute:
Yea so far the only exclusives that can only be experienced on PS4 are Killzone(:trash: imo), Knack(:ehh:), Resogun(:obama:), Infamous(:blessed:) and various indie games. As fa as cross platform titles, some of them are better on PS4 such as BF4, NBA 2k14, MLB The show which is coming shortly and TLOU Remastered Edition which will be the superior version.

According to Edge Magazine, which contains some of the most in-depth and unbiased gaming reviews out there, while Killzone Shadow Fall and Infamous Second Son are great graphical showpieces that show what the PS4 is capable of from a technical standpoint, they are far from being genuinely great games, due to a considerable amount of flaws and compromises in gameplay areas that don't scream "next gen".

Below, I've linked Edge's reviews for both games so those who are still on the fence about picking up a PS4 anytime soon can make an informed decision without any biased opinions - particularly from PS4 owners - influencing it.

Killzone: Shadow Fall review | Edge Online

Infamous: Second Son review | Edge Online

For those too lazy to read, and who just want to see the numbers, here they are:

Killzone Shadow Fall - 6/10

Infamous Second Son - 7/10

I highly advise reading the reviews though, even if you happen to love said games, as the flaws you may have not noticed will become clear as day to you.

I really want the PS4 to do well, but it's off to a slower start than even the PS3 had, and I was one of those gamers who bought that 60GB backwards compatible fat PS3 model in 2006, so I know exactly what it's like. Turned out to be a great investment in the long run, but let's hope PS4 owners can say the same thing about their console a few years from now.

What was the first great exclusive on ps3?

Resistance :wow: dope ass campaign, dope ass 20 on 20 multiplayer, what else could you ask for from a launch shooter? I wish shadow fall coulda delivered in that same way :sadcam:
Resistance 3 was underrated. That game had a great campaign and the MP was really fun but it was really unbalanced and had lots of lag. I know the series is done but it'd be nice if Sony greenlit one final Resistance title.

Console generations last years. We're 6 months into a likely 6 year cycle and people are already asking silly questions like this? Perhaps you where are all the great games people should take a couple years and tune this generation out because you clearly don't get it.

Uncharted 2 took like 2-3 years into the PS3's life to come out. The Last of Us came out in it's last year of life. The best software is gonna take years to hit. All this early stuff will mostly be throwaway.

that kinda title can be thrown in there with Infamous Second Son. The kinda stuff that's already hit but people wanna ignore it or pass over it so they can argue this generation has yet to produce a worthwhile game. I wouldn't call Uncharted Drake's Fortune a great game. It was alright but nothing special to me.
