The thread asked "when WWE RUINED your favorite wrestlers." I'm saying Punk wasn't ruined by losing. That didn't hurt him.

I see where you're coming from. He was ruined by the last half of the storyline which included him losing though.

Sting had the greatest debut at the survivor series, afterwards he started showing his age, then like I said they ruined him, was he just in poor health overall during night of champions? He looked sick making his way down to the ring, and yea he did put way too much oomf! In that table spot, that he caught one of the wooden sides that have a history of breaking bones, McMahon breaking his tailbone on the front was one thing, but imagine performing in a wrestling match with a broken neck of all things, he ain't Olympic era Kurt Angle

QUEENS NY
I was at rumble in NYC when he choked out Angle on his debut. The place went crazy, and Angle was a huge name by then. They could have done a lot with Taz. But unfortunately, EVERYONE was the man in ECW, Heyman is a genius. Vince was hit or miss. They had no idea what to do with people like Taz, Raven, Ryno.

The Rock was bigging him up a lot and Jericho put him over. Not sure what happen. It's like the crowd had too much fun with the theme song, and WWE just had him dancing for no reason and doing nothing else. Same thing will happen to New Day soon, watch. in these situations, it may be the crowd's fault.

and yeah, the flash Funk thing was disrespectful.
I was at the rumble in 2000 and Tazz got one of the best pops of the night. The entire garden was chanting we want taz before his match. Rewatched the match recently on the network, don't care what anyone says, they edited out most of his pop

Ultimo Dragon had a dope debut match on Smackdown

He got good pops whenever he came out. Had a few matches with Rey and then started wrestling only on Velocity for some reason. Then he slipped on his cape at Wrestlemania and that was the end of it :mjcry:

:wow:

all the classics he had in wcw, he should be in the hall of fame

:yeshrug: at least they didnt give him a stupid ass gimmick with stupid skits and sh1t, he was more or less what sin cara was supposed to be, except he was the real deal, dope entrance and one of the greatest wrestlers in the biz

he, angle and krispenwa, shouldve had good ring chemistry

^He was in the WWE as Dean Douglas, had a gimmick where he was rating matches and shyt, pretty much what Matt Striker's gimmick was when he debuted. Douglas ended up being a Kliq casualty as they ran him out the WWE.

Remember him walking out with 7-9 belts with Sonny Onoo in WCW. I wish WWE didnt win the Monday Night Wars. WCW had it flaws but to me it was so much better than WWE.

The pop was crazy in this clip.
