Fellow employees borrowing money from me talking about the company had not paid them yet that month, in my first week mind you
No racism but Indians are some wicked employers man...the pay was so low he had people outside his office begging for small loans to make it through the month lol, and the work is back breaking too
I would snitch on them to the Labor Department.
Those hurricane clean up jobs can be like that. They pay $40 an hour but work you like a slave, feed you a burger king meal for the whole day and have you in a hotel wit 5 other dudes.
Remind me of those down south Temporary warehouse jobs

Reminds me on some assignments for hurricane claims . They ship dudes out in middle of a storm and they work like 12+hrs straight. But they get hazard pay and cane make some good paper.

When you go to a job "interview" and about 20 jobseekers are there and the job is being sold to you, good luck. Many times, people start leaving in the middle of the job presentaton once the details of the jobs start coming out. A lot of times, you know it's a bullshyt job, but you're down on your luck, and probably live in a city with no jobs. Most of these jobs are door to door, which means the company doesn't have an advertising budget or they're being cheap and/or lazy. They want someone else to go out and sell their crappy product, and don't want to pay them to do it. No matter how crappy or scammy the job is. many parents will think it's a good job and look at your like you're crazy for quitting it. Maybe they've been socialized to view their kids in the same manner white supremacists view them.
I deliverd packages in college as well. fukk dogs.Showed up for orientation for the Amazon third party van driver jobs. The kicker was when the trainers said there was an arbitrary agreement that I had to sign before I could start and there’s no medical coverage. Not to mention the #1 injury on the job was dog bites. I was looking like. Went home to think about it and then said wtf do I look like trying to deliver 125 packages within an 8 hr shift for $15 an hour and no medical package? Then I can’t sue if I get bit by a dog on top of that? Sent them motherfukkers a text message cussing them out and blocked their asses. They really killed when they said we’ll have your backs if a customer lies about not receiving their package.
That’s the least of my worries. The nerve of these companies.
That's what I'm talking about. I did it once and was the only non-mexican working. They were just paying us cash everyday. If somebody got hurt they just didn't work that day

The high school that I went to allowed a cutco knives salesman to present their job opportunity to senior students. I guess the school didn't know or didn't care that it was a scammy mlm scheme. It's important to send your kids to good schools.

Man, I got laid off at the beginning of the pandemic and took an engineering manager job with this rinky dink ass company just so I could have a job. I was used to having my own office or cubicle, but they had all of us sitting at a table and wasn’t no guarantee you’d get a seat with how many people worked there. Company was just so unorganized. I lasted 4 months. Switched me to 2nd shift that was from 6pm to 3am, and that was the final straw. I left at midnight and went to the bar. Quit on a whim.

With that set up, they're just hoping to get a few sales out of people's family members and friends, and don't care what happens to you after that. My high school allowed these jackasses to present this "job opportunity" to us.
Another place I just remembered is The Peterson Group in Alabama. Yeah I'm naming them bc fukk them.
It was a call center that didn't have the money to pay people. My first check I went to cash it and they called the police on me bc they thought I stole it. I went to court and they dropped the charges. 7 new hires with me all got arrested bc of them. They filed bankruptcy and closed down. fukk them nikkas.
