Then other dude we had was old as hell he was cool but he smelled like piss and shyt like he wore a diaper and didn't change it. Did it for like 3 weeks like wtf am i doing here, i was reminded of why i left in the first place. Its alright money but im over qualified and that shyt don't have real type of growth. Waste treatment plant, 1st day of orientation a pipe bust and it was literally shot every where. The smell was the worst. The chemicals they use to break down waste was chewing my Timz. At lunch, I walked straight to the bus stop and never looked back

I worked at Fortunoff for a full day during the holiday merchandise rollout. I knew I was going to quit by lunch, but I figured I’d finish the day, get that one check, and quit properly in case I encountered any of those people again for another job.

The funny thing is, the other people in my department kept going on and on about how much they loved the job, and they came back year after year.

:heh: I found this warehouse job on Craigslist that was paying like $18/hr to do the same shyt I did at my old job, except it was literally a block from me. So I show up for the "interview" and the boss is like "We do XYZ, can you come in tomorrow for training?" 5 mins in :patrice:. I was like cool :manny: it's easy money. I come in the next day and train with this guy who shows me the ropes, and he says "So yeah i'm gonna be taking off in 2 days so you can handle everything" :what:. Breh expected me to learn how operate their complex shipping system and place a bunch of orders in a span of two days. Meanwhile this guy is also the only one who knows how to run the department, so if I fukked up, no one would know what to do :gucci::mjlol:

Turns out, they needed to hire someone to cover for him because he basically never takes a day off, since no one wanted the job :mjlol: I told the boss I would come back tomorrow to finish training then turned off my phone before I went to sleep :heh: breh left a bunch of voicemails that I didn't even listen to, I just deleted them all :mjlol:

Only once. I sat through a cutco knives presentation to be a salesman as a teenager and halfway through the presentation, the epiphany (and reality) was, how in the hell am I going to sell some damn knives and scissors for $250?

I had already paid my money for my trial set so I stuck with the presentation, went home, got clowned by my mom and went to find a real job.

reminds me when my mom seen me in my Security guard costume, worked at that job 3 days

Cutco suckered so many young people in the mid 00s. :mjlol:
I realized it was bogus when they wanted us to do an exercise, write down the names of all your friends and family ... then told us these are the people we'll start selling to and those people will give us our next customers. :mjlol:

I didn't see any Lambos when I went, mine was in an office in Brooklyn that was on top of an Italian pork store. :mjlol:

Cutco has been running strong since the mid 90s

I was there :flabbynsick:
