:russ: what if it took me more than 20 years to realize the shyt wasn't for me :mjcry:
Lol if you're talking about the military at least you get a check after 20 years
I know some people who are working a dead end job for 20 years and the most they'll get out of is maybe a pat on the back

I did orientation at Walmart after I got my first real job. Thinking I'd work the Christmas rush and save up a little extra money and stay out of the clubs. Did orientation and decided "fukk this."

Looking back, I wish I would have stuck to it and started getting my finances together earlier.

Working for a lawn care company and driving around for training for 12 hours a day locked in this truck with this smelly Indian named Gary.

I said fukk it and stopped coming to work. He stunk so bad, that shyt lingered on me. The combination of him not wearing deodorant plus not washing his clothes. I'm just shocked he had a wife. She probably was forced to marry him.

Anyway, fukk that company.

Spent the whole day basically trying to force people to sign up with verizon for commission. Thats literally what this company i interviewed was doing for earnings.
The guy they sent with me with on day 1..... My so called trainer......had to blow in a tube for 10 seconds to start the car before driving us to the first "client" .....off to a bad start already. I did the shyts. Cold called my ass off, got the job. Drug test the next day i didnt show up.They call later mad as hell, on some why did i make em waste money on the pee test. I was just at home lolling at the wasted day just driving to random places pitching phone and cable deals.

Only once. I sat through a cutco knives presentation to be a salesman as a teenager and halfway through the presentation, the epiphany (and reality) was, how in the hell am I going to sell some damn knives and scissors for $250?

I had already paid my money for my trial set so I stuck with the presentation, went home, got clowned by my mom and went to find a real job.

Yeah as soon as they talked about us paying THEM for the set of knives that’s all I needed to know before exiting, and then I googled that name
