I have a CrossFit groupon that is about to expire and I'm not sure about using it till I check out the facility first.

Why do they go with the alternate grip? I've seen this video and can't figure why you would do that?

Theoretically cross-fit's philosophy of fitness is rather phenomenal, but as evidenced in this video as well as numerous others, it's mission is hardly ever fulfilled.


Clean & Jerking is undoubtedly a very advanced movement. Most people in the gym, find little comfort in attempting this exercise or anything remotely close to it, because of the enormous potential for a stagnate injury to occur.



One suggestion for this organization, might be for the staff to place a greater emphasis on learning the proper prerequisites for compound lifts(focus on squatting front / back ; overhead press in the power rack) instead of strictly diving right into a complicated exercise.



When executed correctly, the power obtained from cleaning is indescribable.

I can tell you're trying extra hard to speak good English, which makes this simple error very :wow:
