read my edit. its not about if you should or shouldn't, i enjoy it time to time, every once in a while. but you got some other problems, the way you like investigate these rappers. ive seen you go into threads of people talking about others sub genres of hip hop and artists and plugging drill music putting down other artist. your posts reminds me of those vice interviewers who go into chicago.

Drill Music is the only AUTHENTIC sub-genre right now...In ALL music...
Other rappers are making songs to sell merchandise...
I can't remember the last time I watch a rapper being interviewed as asked questions about their thoughts about their community, what made them right a certain a lyric, and etc...
All you hear is "so what product are you here to advertise today, which groupie are you currently dating and etc?"
Thank god for Drill Music...You watch a video like Chief Keef's "It's cracking" then you feeling like you are within in that little 4 corner room, and things are really about to get hectic...
It is relatively more "real" than anything happening right know...

I am just sharing my opinion...
I am not entertained by Drake, Kendrick, J Cole, Wale, Macklemore, Jay Z, Nas, 2Chianz, Kanye West and etc...
They are not making music that appeals to me...
If you seen my other postings, then you should know the themes of "survival of the fittest, by any means necessary, extreme situations" are very common in my thinking...
I have lived a safe and uneventful life...So, I like to think in terms of "what if my life was turned upside down tomorrow, how far will I be willing to go to maintain and how capable would I be able to maintain?"
Drill Music appeals to that...These children are growing in EXTREME circumstances...How the hell are they even able to maintain?
I have a interest in human thought and behaviour, why we think and do what we do...
Jay Z talking about being able to afford Tom Ford sunglasses really doesn't interest me...Nor does listening to Drake crying about pass girlfriends...
Not dark enough for my taste...I like hell, chaos and anarchy, because I am a very self-centred and controlled individual...

you clearly dont listen to much music.
I have a wider taste in music than the average North American...Music and Movies are just GARBAGE these days...
Drill Music and shows like Game of Thrones, Justified, The Walking Dead, Luther, and other more "gritty" type shows are the only things popping in the entertainment business...
Name a dark edgy unpretentious album released in the past 5 years...I will look it up...

Killing people just to say you're a savage is really something to be proud of. And how many of they would have the "courage" to fight to the death. How many would have that "courage" if they wasn't all pilled up and what not?

Most of our "gangsta rap legends" in the 80's-90's that were talking all that tough guy shyt on wax were really just a bunch of
spittaz that had highly active imaginations. Most were never really in the field like that heavy like these drill rap nikkas.
These spittin' rappers of the 80's-90's... their songs/albums were really about somebody else's lifestyle, not their own, and they were giving their vantage point of that life from an outsiders perspective.
Where as, these drill rap nikkas will put that shoot em up, slang-n-bang, hug the block rah rah shyt on wax... then put the mic down and go outside and re-enact that shyt.

The difference is most of the hot 90's artist expressed violence through the goonies around them very few of them actually did any real crazy shyt
But best believe alot of them dudes around them were 100% savage but the artist was trying to get his money
