that riddim was big that year...there was this song, the sean paul song and the wayne wonder one

made for a nice summer.
2003-2005 had some bangers.

All the Sean Paul joints was ill.
That Wayne Wonder "Turn Me" on was dope.

I think of those tracks and think about when I was 20 and walking down Broadway in Manhattan and going in and out of Yellow Rat b*stard.

:wow:

Yea bruh this is the one song i think would trigger most nikkaz nostalgia

If i recall this shyt banged the whole year
It really did bang out the whole year. I played this out during DJ sets in 2008 too when I had a club residency.
:banderas:

The crowd went nuts still after five years.

Then I remember being in Bossa Nova Civic CLUB on Myrtle Ave in Brooklyn in 2013 one night and this DJ is playing a hard techno/tech house set. Straight up he threw that Lumidee joint on pitched up to match the tempo...when those bass kicks started banging out on them loudspeakers...

:whew: fire!

The Bronx
This joint also takes me back to how different NYC was in contrast to how it is now , granted gentrification was probably at it's infancy stages around this time but it wasn't as evident as it is now , I be seeing yuppies idling aimlessly around blocks in the Harlem/BX that back then used to be straight dangerzones :dwillhuh:
