I'm a 19 years old construction entrepreneur and I still ride the bus. I have the money to afford a nice car but simply don't have time to complete my driving license lessons. Driving lessons in Quebec (Province) are about 1 year long and once you finish them they require you to drive a full year with an experienced driver before you can go freely on the road.
Right now I have my temporary driving license which gives me permission to drive with an experienced driver. I have yet to finish my lessons. I work an average of 50 hours a week, spend an average of 10 hours/week doing representation for clients, have 20 hours of school per week (entrepreneur school) and I ride the bus for maybe 15 hours so don't have no time for those long ass lessons

I have a car, but that's because where I live(d) it was basically necessary. Very few buses, and the few that we have are terrible. If I never left NYC, I might not be driving. The traffic and parking are horrendous, and insurance is much higher. So I don't fault anybody for not driving if they live in a place with viable transportation :manny:

I'm still keeping my car when I move back down to NYC, just because I like having options. But I'll definitely be using public transportation frequently. Especially since I get free train rides with my new job :tego:

That's soo funny. When I was younger I use to STRICTLY never date guys with cars because I felt that it was an expense that wasn't needed. A guy with a car had to pay insurance and gas and if you're in HS that pretty much wore the hell out of your budget. If you were one of those dudes whose mommy or daddy got it for them, then I would just assume he was a spoil little hoe and I don't need Prince B*thces in my life. Guess everyone thinks differently.

I only need 1$ to go to school, home, eat, buy clothes or some other shyt, go out etc. The money saved from not paying for gas :wow:

I don't care if I look like a broke fukk waiting at the bus stop. I know I got money :yeshrug:

Also walking isn't so bad, if it's a couple miles away I don't mind. I gotta get this cardio in for the day somehow.

I've never taken public transportation, and I don't think I would like to.

If you live in ny, then i don't think you really need a car, you can take the train. idk though.
