:patrice:For the life of me I don't see the current Hype. Those mixtapes were aiight. But it's like everybody woke up one morning and was Team Future.

I listened to some joints from the tapes but nothing stuck out. Days Before Rodeo > All those mixtapes.

:sadcam:I'm fully aware of the repercussions of this thread, and ready to take these Negs like a man.
But I'm just tryna understand bruhs. Help a nikka understand!

I had to breh. I'm not even trying to Hate, I really want to get into his music but I don't see what the hype is about. So I'm tryna learn. I feel like there's a lot of genuine fans, and then there's a alot of nikkas who just say shyt to sound cool :yeshrug:

Some cool little mixtapes but Days Before Rodeo was better than all them tapes. And most of yall hate Travis(he can be a dikk sometimes).

Post the best future track to put me on the wave brehs.

2011-2012 Future >>>>>

That was the best Future has ever been. Dirty Sprite, Free Bricks, Astronaut Status, Pluto, that tape with the singer from St. Louis :wow:

My man couldn't miss.

Ever since, he has been hit or miss. So, I c/s the thread. The hype for Future should have been bigger when he was actually making his best music :yeshrug:

See you proving @StillNotSoft point. He didn't get that much luv because he was gettin wrote off as a fad. And the love he got was from dikriders "in the moment"

Now it's 100% genuine. You can't compare future to himself to gauge popularity. Compare him to his peers. And at the moment he is making better music than most. The luv is warranted

its okay to like dude music, but the 100 gifs, smilies, over reaction in they posts be too freaking much

How you gone diss smilies on the Coli tho?

:ld:

Sense of humor ain't okay? Spicing up convo ain't okay? Worrying bout what the next man fuccs with and posts is definitely okay though? Right?

I'll be straight, I didn't like Future at all at first. :manny: First time I heard him it was Tony Montana, bad introduction to him if you ask me

Sounds like a joke.

This kid who rocks the gauges and emo hair and snapbacks put this on at this spot I used to chill at...within 10 seconds I'm giving the :rudy::dahell: "The fukk is this, turn this shyt off"

Later at the same spot, he tries to put this one on. I'm feeling it "I'm on that pimp C, I'm on that DJ Screw..." :leon: then it drops to that fisher price
piano shyt and I'm all :dahell: not to mention that weak ass bass. Sound like some shyt you could cook up in FL studio in 2 mins.

So I pretty much avoided Future. Heard him on some features and was alright with him. Heard Honest and some other singles and thought he was pretty hit-or-miss. UOENO got some major play, made me think fewtch wasn't so bad.

Now everybodys talkin bout how good beast mode, monster, 56 nights I decide to check it out.

This is the one that solidified it for me. Future runnin shyt:banderas:

I didn't get Future's debut solo "Tony Montana" then he did duets with Rihanna. It's weird with artist from genres like the South or Trap, or Bay area. They have to be experienced in a cerain way, I feel. Especially if you are a "Real Hip Hop"/ traditional Hip Hop fan.

I first started getting into Future when I heared it in a bar, club, restaurant speakers, but not through some bs headphones or whatever.

Then Beast Mode Mixtape did nothing for me.
The Honest joint with Kanye was good, And a under acknowledged joint with Jim Jones called "Don't Judge Me" had me interested.

The HE CRUSHED THE BUILDINGS when I dared to download the 56 Nights Mixtape.
"Trap nikkaz" had me entranced
"March Madness" had a soulful Trap element to it and then I came to grips with his talent.
