If Wade had developed a reliable jumper (a consistent one) he could've challenged Prime Kobe for best SG in the game.
Hell. If he had a jumper he would be averaging 23-26ppg right now. nikka has been one of the worse jumpshooters from mid and from 3 this season. He is still elite at the basket though

I.T is like 5'10 so the mere fact that he's even able to get off the kind of shots he is when he's effectively surrounded by mutant sized athletes is testament enough to how good he is, IMO.

I also don't think quite enough respect is being given to Curry. Curry's overall body control isn't quite as good as Kyrie's, his creativity and touch are out of this world. He's able to make all these awkwardly timed lay ups that guys just can't seem to block. They're too high to wait for and too awkward to time with your average help.

Prime for Prime, Wade was pretty much just as good as Prime Kobe. Wade was the better finisher and playmaker, Kobe was the versatile and more explosive scorer. Wade was a better help-defender, shot blocker, and all-around thief while Kobe was a more hellacious and physical on-ball defender despite being a bit of ball-hawk when playing off ball.

Kobe gets the slight nod (Longevity and three point ability gives him the slightly more dangerous player) but Wade with a decent jumper is pretty much unguardable.

But Prime Kobe was unguardable because you he had a consistent and reliable jumpshot. Shooting guards who lack the ability to shoot don't catch enough heat, it seems like a basic requirement of the position. And again, I liked Wade :manny:

Wade was pretty much unguardable too, breh. Dude carved up numerous top tier defenses despite being the primary focus of those defenses.

Wade's handle, creativity, and change of pace were so great that the scoring difference between him and Kobe isn't really that big despite Kobe being a better shooter.

When you can get into the lane at will, have insane vision, insane body control, and touch around the rim...you're still an unstoppable scorer.

Wade and Kobe were both unstoppable but Kobe gets the nod for dangerousness because he'll start firing threes and will just put up points in a hurry plus he's pretty damn durable so he'll host those shots up until he physically can't.

If you watch the games, you'd know Kyrie is the best finishing guard ever. No one's close.

Stats don't show degree of difficulty and when there 2 forward under the rim. Some people only take easy layups. Kyrie takes it at dudes.

8 people dapped this shyt?! :francis:

Wade and Rose are the best layup makers since MJ. No coincidence they're both from Chicago.

VERY GOOD POST...
nikkaS KILL ME POSTING THOSE PERCENTAGES...

A LOT OF DUDES LIKE DRAGIC AND CP3 ARE NOT FINISHING OVER BIGS IN TRAFFIC....

A LOT OF THESE DUDES ONLY TAKE LAYUPS WHEN THEIR WIDE OPEN...

ROSE, RUSS AND KYRIE
ATTACKING 2 TO 3 nikkaS
AND MAKING TOUGH LAYUPS.

I see what y'all see but the percentages don't lie....sounds like to me y'all just like him more....Curry and Dragic be doing the same things but more effectively

I don't know how you can say a lot of these dudes take lay ups when they are wide open when Jeff Teague took more than Kyrie in total. You would have a point if they were like 150 attempts apart but they are not....Teague actually takes more. You really going to try and say that nobody wants to guard teague so he gets easy lay ups?

I'm not saying kyrie isn't good at finishing but the best in the league below 6'3 isn't true. That is just some hype shyt

Come again

I'm not even sure wade was a better playmaker
