Good bye Coli(2014-2020)
People put they 21 century thoughts on Jim Crow south. Let’s be honesty, what Malcolm and the nation was facing up north was nothing close to what Martin and the civil right movement was facing down south.
I stress to a lot of people. The south needed a different kinda finesse to win, they wanted black people to attack so they could have a reason to massively kill black people cause the the kkk was ingrained in every part of the government, from the police to the court houses.

Up north they didn’t have those same attacks so they could fight force with force cause they weren’t under the same kinda pressure.

white protesters would come down south to protest him crow and segregation and they would die and never be found again, it needed a different kinda finesse

and for damn sure the nation would not have been able to come down here with the way they moved during that time period without being thrown in jail and being killed after.

both great men that was in different places, that needed different approaches

Heck don't forget the self-defense sect of the civil rights movement in the South like Robert F Williams and the Deacons for Defense and Justice who were getting into gun battles with the KKK. No offense to Malcolm X, NOI or other northern pro-Black groups but I have not seen them go up against a deadly enemy like the Civil Rights activist were facing in the south. Especially fukking Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. The south was the CORE of White supremacy.

The civil rights activists were fighting in the EASTERN European front while the pro-Black nationalist were fighting in the western European theater.

TYRONE GA!
Because he took way too much shyt from white folks under the guise of white Christianity.

I had this argument with my grandmother a while ago and she straightened me out. She told me Malcolm was coolin in Uptown with the Nation with him at every step and Martin was in Bama getting the brakes beat off him.

Changed my perspective. Even tho I don’t agree with how King went about things in no way was he ever a c00n

The funny thing is if you really read about MLK, and not the bullshyt that was spoonfed to us in grade school, you'd know he wasn't some chump.

Him and MLk may have argued back and forth but he wouldn't call him a "c00n" especially considering they were apart of the SAME movement.
Let me clarify. I'm not 100% sure Robert would have called him those names thats why i said "probably". But if I was Robert F Williams in the 1950 and 60s putting up an armed resistance against the kkklan(which he DID) and a Black man had something to say about it that wasn't positive/supportive(which king DID), im not saying I'd call him a c00n but I'd call him something.

99 percent of people would be sh*t scared living the life mlk jr did

He almost didn’t survive the night. Another mob, including several Klansmen, surrounded the church and threatened to beat or kill anyone who left. King and the members of the church were held under siege in the church until dawn the next morning, when federal marshals and the Alabama National Guard finally escorted them out.

facts.

Also to add, One of the Civil Rights intentions were to gain sympathy from the Global Community. The Govt. had to bow down esp with the advent of the television and the looming threat of communism across the globe.

I won’t call the man a c00n, but his courage and leadership was called into question by his contemporaries, especially during the whole Freedom Riders deal. Robert F. Williams basically called him a coward and unfit as a leader.
