Just because MLK caught some beats in the Chi does not negate the social fabric in the south that was responsible for 1000s of lynchings, beats during the Selma march, Jackson getting popped, beats during the march in Birmingham, Emmett Till, Medgar Evers, Rev George Lee, Herbert Lee, 4 lil black girls got blown the fukk up for God’s sake...There are at least a hundred CRM Martyrs that no one knows about, whom were murdered in Bama/Mississippi during that era .the racial atmosphere in the south was significantly more deadly than it was in the north during that era... it’s not even debatable

Greenwood represented less than 1 percent of the black population at that time..... Dr king actually walking right physically alongside the people and getting tossed in jail with them is one of the main reasons he is more revered than malcolm X

we all know that intellectually and philosophically, malcolm towered over dr king, but in terms of actual activism dr king got him.
