Part of me wants to let them be but i care too much about the black race and the youth. They think harnessing anger and hatred within them is a good thing, when it is really self destructive and they will pass it on to their kids, continuing the cycle

When I used to be all up in those problack/conscious groups on Facebook this was the main talking point on why some considered him a c00n.

They'd act like Malcolm was this "shoot em up/knocking people out just to be knocking em out" kind of man. When in reality Malcolm and Martin were really no different from each other. Same end goals in mind just different approaches to accomplishing them.

Coretta Scott and her sister used to stay at my grandma's house sometimes when they went to Antioch. i assume it was because there were no colored dorms.

Integration has been a complete disaster. There was a large number of black folks in the 60's saying what the outcome would be so this isnt a hindsight criticism. There has to be a reexamination of his legacy and the civil rights movement.
