His solo albums gave him that title. He is great for a 16 but his solo album didn't deliver.. plus wutang as a crew werent blessing him with classic features like he blessed them. They were "busy"
He was on the SWV remix and almost every soundtrack cut they did.
He also had no real persona. Everyone else in wu had something relatable, except maybe MK.

Rae/ghost - street
Meth - stoner lady’s man
Rza - leader/producer
Gza/INS - 5%er lyrical poets
ODB - ODB
U God - ????
Ironically, next to Meth & RZA, U-God is probably the most charismatic of them all. He definitely one of the loudest, and funniest. And he got mid-90s shootouts in album thanks based off his jail rep alone. For whatever reason, he just didn't translate any of it into his rap style.

This here.

I never thought U-God was wack, but we could see from day one that he was probably the hardest for RZA to build a vision for, musically.

After The Show dropped, I remember people thought he was the angry one in the crew, because of his rant about how Meth always gets all the attention, lol. But it's like RZA says, U-God is the "voice of reason" in Wu and he acts as a mentor in a lot of ways. Every crew needs a Golden Arms. He's wild important to Wu.
