the pure point guard argument that the amateurs use is great for journalist who rather talk football anyway. they look at 11ast in the boxscore and think this pure pg so called got his team involved. it dont account for certain point guards who hurt they team cause they cant score and will pass up wide open lay ups to get a padded assist. it dont account for the point guards who get destroyed on the other end of the floor cause they cant defend anybody. it dont account for the point guards who make they team a stand around stagnant offense as they await the ball to be delivered to them, making the whole offense around them spot up shooters who dont move on offense.
all im saying is assist totals dont tell the full story. and i respect rose and westbrook and dwill for being players who do what it takes to win. and its pretty stupid to act like parker is more cp3 and nash, when honestly he more rose and westbrook.

its like he just started watching the spurs this season.
So Parker in place of Rose would suddenly:
A) Give the Bulls a legit 2nd option
B) Make Luol Deng a ball handler
C) Have Rip Hamilton actually step up against good competition
D) Make Boozer a competent defender?
Defenses would just focus on Parker the same way they focus on Rose. Which means the Bulls would have the same problems

He's always been surrounded by shooters. The Spurs rank in the top 5 in 3 point percentage and makes almost every year. He's adjusted his style of play and become more of a facilitator this year.
