where does Alchemist rank among hip hop producers?

Top 10 for me. And while nearly everyone in my top 10 has fallen off (Premo, Pete Rock, RZA, etc) he never fell off.

I saw a Pete Rock show after Petestrumentals 2 was released. Slum Village opened. He never fell off.



I know there's no EQ'd wah-wah Pete Rock effects, but this shyt is still impeccable.

My personal top 5. Nobody manipulates sound like Alchemst man. He utilizes the most obscure sounds it's borderline unfathomable. Dude pitched up the THX sound effect in that Evidence 'Red Carpet' record.
