Overrated pos

I tend to agree that he's overrated, but I can see why people prefer him and would have him in their top 5. He's definitely a pure pg and if you have a legitimate big man and scoring guard, he would be someone I would have on my team to keep everyone involved. However, if you're team sucks and you need someone to take over, he's definitely not the scoring pg that you want on the team.

:mjlol::mjlol: at OP having Stockton ahead of Kidd let alone Isaiah :mjlol:. That was Sloan all day.

You're kidding right? Stockton has the assists and steals record so far ahead that the person who breaks them will have to have all 99s in settings

No you're kidding right? The Flex offense Sloan implemented contributed heavily to Stockton's success (look at the before and after results for Deron Williams), never said he wasn't good but top 3 is a joke, hell Isiah won two titles and should have at least won 3. I won't argue with top 7 for Stockton. Mind you i'm not even going to give as much credit to Malone either for Stockton's success as I do Sloan's system because that helped Malone's numbers out a lot too (again look at Boozer's before and after)

A.I. isn't a point guard. He was a 2 in a 1's body.

That's like saying Magic was a power forward. Uh no.

right because in limited minutes his first 3 seasons he didn't average 7 apg and then 14 apg the season before Sloan took over :comeon:. Stockton being placed in the top 3 isn't a joke by ANY means

Kidd was a terrible shooter for most of his prime, mediocre scorer, and because of it was a non threat in the half court offense. Yes he was an elite defender but PG is an offensive first position.

He did nothing of note in the WCF as a franchise player. It wasn't until he went to a historically bad conference where he started to have success in the PS
