Cracks Deepening In NFL OL Play

I've heard it talked about with local (Dallas) and national guys regarding the struggles offensive linemen are having when it comes to transitioning from CFB to the NFL.

I think Myles would be a monster in any era and he's HOF bound. Sucks for him that he's stuck on such a poor squad. Seems happy being there, but there's got to be some part of him that wishes he could play for a ring.

With that said, while I think defensive linemen are as good or better than the past, the O-line play has gone backwards a bit. It makes guys like Myles standout even more.

I think that's a case of unrecognized or unwillingness to admit causation. The evolution of athletes on D-line has O-lineman looking worse than they were. The last 15 years of edge rushers have gotten too good of a blend of size/strength/quickness to deal with down after down.
