I stand by my assesment that the Championship is a team award more so then an individual. Guys like Pat Ewing had John Starks just imagine him with a Pippen or Gary Payton even. Now Sir Charles quite as kept birthed that big 3 shyt but they still fell short because they did it to late.

I fukking hate these arguments. Ewing's #5 for centers. I said it. If Starks didn't keep shooting those bricks, he'd be above Hakeem IMO. If Jordan didn't block out an entire decade for himself, I strongly believe we would've had at least one or two titles. I followed the game so closely back then. The Knicks really were the Bulls biggest competition during 92, 93.

Kerr was the best 3pt shooter in the game. Rodman for the 2nd 3peat was the greatest rebounder and defender in the game.
It CAN be flipped but Howard is still early into his career. I think by the time he is done Ewing wont even compare. People love to hate Howard because
- He's a goofy kid from the south
- He's horrible on offense without use of his athleticism
- Shaq told us to hate him
But let's be honest. Dude is the closest thing to Shaq we've seen when it comes to size and athleticism and is a monster on defense. Bynum SHOULD be better but simply ISNT.
To me AMARE should have been top 5 if not top 3 by now but dude does nothing on defense. NOTHING. I've always loved his game. he's like Dwight but with a greater offensive arsenal.
After Wilt Kareem Shaq Dream Russell and Malone i would put either him or Robinson in the seventh slot as far as centers are concerned. And Ewing was and still is a top 50 player. That wont change anytime soon either. Cause some of them older cats with those inflated stats would have to go before someone like Ewing does.
