It's crazy how some small moments in your career can change the way you are perceived when it's over.

If the Knicks win that Finals series against the Rockets (which they were as close to doing as you can get), the scope on both Olajuwon and Ewing changes immensely, even though Keem was clearly the better player.

As far as this thread goes, I'd rank Ewing in the lower half of the top fifty players ever, but if I actually gave it some real thought maybe I'd change my mind.

a top 15 maybe even top 10 center of all time, funny thing is i grew up on the ewing starks oakley derek harper knicks and i never knew patrick ewing was jamaican until he retired and i heard him talk

The one thing I never understood is how people can say Garnett is better than Ewing
