I'm strictly speaking on the hate. I know every player isn't gonna be liked. That's a given. It definitely got worse after his time with the Lakers as well. That's also true.
I'm just speaking as a fan of the game of basketball. I can't hate on Russ. Does he make bad decisions and take bad shots yes? I can live with that because I never have to worry about his effort. He's always gonna play hard. You know what you're gonna get with him on a nightly basis.
He's also just an entertaining player to watch.
