Because there are two types of riders. that fukk it up for everyone.

The teenage daredevils in the crotch rockets.

They commonly seen popping wheelies, doing annoying revs at red lights, driving 150 on the highway, and crashing out spectactorally. People are referencing this guy specifically when they say motorcycles are dangerous. They are if you ride like him.


Then there is the wannabe 1%er

This guy thinks the road belongs to him, and road rage on people trying to pass. knock off rearview mirrors if you cut him off. And drive by you giving you the finger. Commonly seen riding a harley and wearing leather. They are the biggest aholes on the road. He also has the extremely loud pipes that disturbs the whole neighborhood And they don't even wave to other bikers.


People with limited cognitive ability like to generalize in order to account for it, So they act like these two are all bikers, But its not.
There are two more.
The retired dad biker, known as the weekend warrior.

This guy only rides on sunny weekends around town. Doesn't bother anyone. doesn't go over the speed limit, just likes to get out and cruise sometime. If he could afford he'd be on a boat fishing instead. He just goes to the local bar once a week during the summer and then goes home.


and finally the every day commuter.

They just got a motorcycle because its more affordable than a car, and much better gas mileage. They are going to work or running errands. Not trying to show off or anything. They generally go the speed limit too. usually have quieter low cc bikes. because city traffic doesn't require a bike capable of breaking 200mphs
Only thing dangerous about them is sometimes you will see them riding in the rain or riding with a bunch of stuff loaded on the bike, because this is their primary mode of transportation. Not just a hobby. But otherwise they are super safe drivers and aren't bothering anybody or getting themselves killed.

I helped out at a friends shop in Pacific Beach. Would get all the wannabe Jax Tellers coming in to make their bike look cool. They never put more than 10k on their bikes mileage wise. California is a really Club heavy state. There are grown men who will gush when they see one of those 1% Clubs. Literally following them around like a dog. Not too mention the outright racism. Harley Davidson has a bad rap, and for good reasons.

Wheels of Soul threw some good parties. I think they are on the East Coast as well.

I can't stand the a$$holes who bob and weave through traffic backups.

I can't stand the idiots on the freeway doing death defying moves at 100+ mph, cause the minute one of those pussies crashes it turns into an emergency. Lanes blocked off, emergency vehicles, surgeons nurses commuters all have to stop doing something else cause u wanted to be bad and fell of your fukking bike

I can't stand how many people I've seen with rehabilitating lifelong injuries cause they fell off a bike. Either motorcycles should be illegal, or deny care at the hospital door. U know what u got yourself into

I can't stand motorcycles that pop up out of nowhere cause the driver going too fast, and they get mad at u for switching lanes. If u ain't doing the speed limit I'm not watching for u. I will hit u and keep going. It's your responsibility to keep yourself safe


I can't stand waiting at the light, zoning out to some chill music and Mr.motorcycle man keeps disturbing my vibe cause he has to keep revving his engine. I knocked a man out with a baseball bat for that noise years ago


I can't stand how Motorcyclists always want to move to nice quiet areas and rev their engines everywhere, that noise belongs in a city

I can't stand how they form into vigilantes in big groups and will attack drivers they don't like in a big mob, that ever happens to me it's gonna be 6 dead bikers with 7 more shot and a couple of innocent bystanders

I can never forget having to drive to work late one night, and mr motorcycle person didn't like that I passed in front of him, even though he was at least a 1000+feet behind me, he decides to rev up next to my car and throw me the finger. Tried to chase him but he ran the light. That was the last time, fukk all y'all

No problems to official motorcycle people who ride in groups and carry themselves respectfully, I don't have a problem with them

Depends on the speed. Filtering upfront past all cars, motorcycles are barely going 7mph. Lane splitting they shouldn't go no more than 15mph, that's not fast either. I wouldn't get nervous at all about that. Now the riders flying by doing 120 is different.

nikka, a motorcylce costs like 1/5 of one of my cars. I could make you a cash offer on your bike while in traffic that would make you hop off and walk home. In other words, most of us could easily "be you" if we wanted to.

There's no 'you would if you could' with motorcycles. People can take a course, buy all the gear, buy the bike, and then have 1 close call and quit riding. There's a lot of bikes collecting dust now cus folks scared to ride em.

Lots of bikers see it as an exotic thing to do and end up replicating shytty behavior and it gives us normal two wheeled users a bad rep.
