I honestly don't think they choked that badly. Game 5 was going to be an obvious win for the Warriors. Game 6 was bad for the Thunder, I'll give you that, but that game saw Klay Thompson knock down shots at at historic rate to steal the win.

At that point, anyone who really expected OKC to win it in seven was mistaken, regardless of how well they had played. I figured they had lost the series after failing to close it in six and was honestly surprised that they played as well as they did early on in Game 7.

At the end of the day, the team expected to win the series, won the series.

Considering who it's up against, not that bad. I mean the Warriors are the reigning champs and coming off a history making season. All time worst still go to the total implosion of the Indiana Pacers 2 years ago.

The scary thing is that this experience will make Golden State even stronger. :merchant: This Warrior team has never had their backs against the wall like that.

Not really that high, because deep down most people weren't even surprised by the outcome.

It's disappointing, but it's not that big of a choke. Days before the conference finals started, you had cats saying the Cavs and GS were going to sweep their respective match ups. I even remember brehs saying OKC wouldn't even make it past the Spurs. If we're being real, OKC being up 3-1 was a shock more than anything. :manny:

This is one of the biggest sports chokejobs of all time.

Look at the whole context, this team was battling injuries for the recent years, one year KD was missing, other year they couldnt play Ibaka healthy against spurs, a year before westbrook got injured.

Now this team is all healthy, they beat the almost 70win team spurs and take the 3-1 lead against the best regular season team ever? While leading the game at almost 40 points in one time in game 3? And losing three games in a row at the end? nikka, this shyt legit could make nba players wanna quit this shyt.

This is basically a 4 year buildup to end up choking in a most painful way.

As far as NBA goes this is the biggest choke. You could make the case for LeBron in 2011 but after that he won back to back. These two from okc will sooner breakup than win a championship together.

Boom. There, it's all of this. Being up 3-1 (and with two blowouts) against the DEFENDING CHAMPION and RECORD SETTING RS TEAM is a historic feat in itself, and chocking all of that away is just as much a historic feat, in terms of HUGE oppotunity wasted. And all of this after when finally being healthy after 4 years.

TBH, I ALWAYS THOUGHT GS WOULD WIN IN 7...NOT IN THAT FASHION, BUT EVEN WHEN THEY WERE DOWN 1-3, I FELT THEY COULD WIN 3 STRAIGHT.....SO IT'S NOT THAT BIG OF A CHOKEJOB, AS I THINK MOST PEOPLE SAW GS AS THE BETTER TEAM GOIN IN, AND GS WINNING 3 STRAIGHT WAS ALWAYS A CONCEIVABLE NOTION.

That 24 point lead we gave up in game 4 of the finals to the Celtics still hurts :mjcry:

We could've been up 3-2 heading back to Boston :mjcry:

Despite missing 2 starters we could've won that series. Blowing game 4 cost us the series basically :mjcry:
