Thanks for the elaborate answer *dapped up and repped*.
Myself, I think that their predominant position led them to predate on others ethnic groups and if it would have been another ethnicity, it would have been the same IMO. We're humans and we basically thrive on the weak.
Plus, I'm sure we can mix more factors than skin colors into this to explain those barbaric behaviors (religion, power, economics, sociology...)
I mean, all genocides that took places in History weren't perpetrated by white people. Many even targeted them :

Interesting.

This is why I believe that most people aren't inherently evil. Peoples minds are malleable and otherwise kind people can be made to do terrible things(see Rwandan and Kenyan ethnic violence and Nazi Germany). Racism and white supremacy arose mostly because white people just got really lucky.
The Mediterranean(Greece, Italy) and the rest of Europe was really geographically blessed(read the book or watch the documentary Guns, Germs, and Steel and watch the lectures called From Lucy to Mandela). Their population was able to grow as a result of good farming conditions, beasts of burden, and immunity/lack of certain diseases. The funny thing about countries like England, Spain, and France is that they were essentially no where NEAR the level of sophistication that you would find in some African, Asian and Mesoamerican civilizations but because they were fortunate enough to have contact with Ancient Rome and to take the knowledge of Rome(which was really already a mixture of knowledge acquired from Egypt, West Asia, and Greece).
Then apply that information to grow their populations(by copying their farming techniques and actually using beasts of burden) Contact with African Muslims(the moors) actually also helped to introduce many europeans to science, mathematics, literature that far surpassed their own.
The thing that a lot of people don't understand is that the idea of "race" only really began to come along with the transatlantic slave trade. I suggest watching racism a history:

the whole series is available on youtube. And also Africa: A history

You'll see that prior to the 15th or 16th century, people of African descent were essentially treated somewhat fairly like human beings. If you go down to Europe you'll even see some black figures represented in art within cathedrals. The concept of race and the myth of white supremacy was invented to help people continue to profit off the slave trade and to encourage colonial expansion which gave europeans access to things they had never had before. Its very complex and I could write huge paragraphs but I think you get the idea. White people just got VERY lucky and certain powers that be assumed that something as absurd as skin color is what made it so that they were successful and that they are inherently good. There is a growing number of white people that can see through that bullshyt though and feel like they have a moral obligation to dismantle white supremacy.
repped right back for being curious and wanting to be put on to some info.

Whitey was the best at being the most evil and diabolical
I saved a motorbike taxi driver from losing his bike to the cops. Tried to charge the poor guy $50 for not riding with his helmet, had to call a connect to talk to the police chief to let it ride. A lot of us need to shake that "woe is me", "oh my god i'm black and the world is against me" mentality. Yeah they killed MLK, but they also killed John Lennon, they also killed JFK.
Might as well quote a high school history book while you're at it.
