But LeBron, Wade, and Paul just did it for the cameras. They're not really taking any stances or actively having discussions or raising awareness about shyt.

Wade gave an interview in Southside Chicago at the YMCA last week talking about gun violence. To be honest, that is meaningless. We all know it exists. Chiraq been going on since what, 2010?? Simply talking about it in August 2016 does nothing.


They're out here just talking about shyt we already know about. Not making moves or bringing new information to light, just comfortably standing in front of cameras wearing suits at an award show for applause.


Other than Melo, when I saw those other 3 on stage talking about the issues at hand, I cringed. Bron and CP3 especially won't do or say anything that could be viewed as controversial.

People say "they dont want to fukk up their money" and dont understand that LeBron is his own brand. He's bigger than a shoe deal, bigger than the Cavaliers. He can do whatever he wants and nobody (for damn sure not those cacs in Ohio) can say anything about it. It's not hard reading about the fears of black crime in the decades prior to that in both the north and south, but nope. I have sympathy but that doesn't excuse him or his aunt from saying flat out wrong things about your own community in front of a national TV audience.

And his cousin was gunned down the day after the TV special.
